Meltdown in Dixie, directed by Emily Harrold, is 55-minute documentary that follows two men in South Carolina fighting over a Confederate flag after the 2015 Charleston Massacre. Virginie Danglades and Xuan Vu were also editors on the film. Seth Gadsen was a producer and cinematographer. The film has screened at various film festival around the country, is distributed and streaming on TOPIC and is broadcasted and streamed on AmericaReFramed on PBS World. Meltdown was also part of the Meet the Press Film Fest in which it was broadcasted multiple times on MSNBC.

What I love about Meltdown in Dixie, is that it gets at what makes people tick. It shares the complex and, at times, hard to watch moments, that shape our society. I hope this film gives people a more wholistic view of the world around us.
